Potency
The real power of any nutrient or combination of nutrients is found in highest concentration in its natural or “whole food” state. Nutrients consumed in this way supply their vital life force in proper natural proportion. Why is this important? Clinically, it has been proven that a small amount of any nutrient in its natural state is many times more effective than a large dose of isolated chemical.
Bio-Availability
To be utilized by your body for health, everything you consume needs to be digested and assimilated. As whole food forms, all our ingredients are digested and absorbed as food so they can be utilized over several hours or even days as your body needs them. That is why the nutrients in food are in relatively small amounts, in specific proportions, with all the synergistic co-factors, vitamins and minerals necessary to metabolize and assimilate into your cells, tissues and organs. That is true nutrition, complete compounds your body can use. Whole Food Concentrates are the only ingredients we use in our formulations, assuring safety and maximum bio-availability.

Beet
Beets, Beta vulgaris L. [Fam. Chenopodiaceae], are native to temperate parts of Eurasia, but are now in general cultivation worldwide, chiefly for their large roots, which are used as food, nutrients and a source of sugar.
Super food:
The beet contains phosphouus, sodium, madnesium, calcium, iron postassium as well as fiber, vitamins A and C, niacin and biotincarbohydrates, protein, fat and ash, Beet greens are rich in vitamins A and B. Beet roots and greens are particularly rich in folic acid, a B vitamin. They also supply needed sulfur and iron for the. The sulfur encourages better protein absorption, which will in turn carry needed minerals to the liver and pancreas. This creates a valuable dietary loop of nourishment
Detoxifier:
The iron content of beets, though not high but of the finest quality, makes it a powerful cleanser and blood builder. This makes it very effective in treating many ailments caused by a toxic envoronment and/or surroundings.
Gallbladder:
Beet juice helps stimulate the function of liver cells and protect the liver and bile ducts. Being highly alkaline producing, beets are highly effective in the treatment of acidosis and those diseases associated with acidosis, most noteabally cancer, gall bladder issues and gout. In fact, beet and carrot when combined is excellent in the healing of gout, kidney and gall bladder problems. Beet juice contains betaine, which stimulates the function of liver cells and protects the liver and bile ducts. Recent studies point to betaine as contributing to the prevention of coronary and cerebral artery diseases as well.

Heart Health:
Thebeet is unique for its high levels of anti-carcinogens and its very high carotenoid content. Beets are loaded with antioxidant that helps the body against heart disease, certain cancer especially colon cancer and even birth defects. Betacyanin is the pigment that gives beets their red color; this pigment is absorbed into the blood corpuscles and can increase the oxygen-carrying ability of the blood by up to 400 per cent. The green leafy tops are rich in beta-carotene, folic acid, chlorophyll, potassium, vitamin C, and iron.
Carrot Powder
The carrot (Daucus carota) is a root vegetable that belongs to the Apiaceae family.
Super-Food:
Anti-oxidant:
Carrots' antioxidant compounds help protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer and also promote good vision, especially night vision.
Blood Sugar
Intake of foods such as carrots that are rich in carotenoids may be beneficial to blood sugar regulation. Research has suggested that physiological levels, as well as dietary intake, of carotenoids may be inversely associated with insulin resistance and high blood sugar levels.
Colon Cancer:
Although best known for their high content of beta carotene, carrots also contain a phytonutrient called falcarinol that may be responsible for the recognized epidemiological association between frequently eating carrots and a reduced risk of cancers. Falcarinol provides protection against colon cancer, suggests a study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. Three groups of laboratory animals in whom precancerous colon lesions (aberrant crypt foci) had been chemically-induced were fed a standard diet, one supplemented with freeze-dried carrots naturally containing falcarinol, or one supplemented with an extract of falcarinol. After 18 weeks, precancerous lesions in the animals given diets containing carrots or falcarinol were much smaller than those in the control animals, and far fewer of the lesions had grown in size or progressed to become tumors.
Heart Disease:
Carrots' antioxidant compounds help protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer and also promote good vision, especially night vision. When six epidemiological studies that looked at the association of diets high in carotenoids and heart disease were reviewed, the research demonstrated that high-carotenoid diets are associated with a reduced risk of heart disease. In one study that examined the diets of 1,300 elderly persons in
Lung Cancer:
If you or someone you love is a smoker, or if you are frequently exposed to secondhand smoke, then making vitamin A-rich foods, such as carrots, part of your healthy way of eating may save your life, suggests research conducted at
Vision:
Carrots' antioxidant compounds help protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer and also promote good vision, especially night vision. Beta-carotene helps to protect vision, especially night vision. After beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A in the liver, it travels to the retina where it is transformed into rhodopsin, a purple pigment that is necessary for night-vision. Plus beta-carotene's powerful antioxidant actions help provide protection against macular degeneration and the development of senile cataracts, the leading cause of blindness in the elderly.
Betaine HCL
Betaine HCL is a source of hydrochloric acid, a naturally occurring stomach acid that helps break up fats and proteins for further digestion in the small intestine. Gastric (stomach) acid also aids in the absorption of nutrients through the walls of the intestines into the blood. It is found naturally in fish, beets, broccoli, spinach and legumes.
Superfood:
Betaine HCL is a lipotropic. Lipotropics aid in preventing the accumulation of fat in the liver, and usually help in the detoxification of metabolic wastes and toxins. They may also be used to help with weight loss. Some benefits of lipotropics are detoxification of the waste by-products of protein systhesis, increasing resistance to disease by stimulating the thymus gland, increasing the production of lecithin in the liver which can lower cholerterol levels, preventing plaque deposits in arteries, preventing gallston formation and protecting against neuropathy, a condition where the crainial and spinal nerves as well as the nerves to the bladder and bowel can be affacted. Betaine HCL also protects the liver from a variety of chemical insults, including death of liver cells caused by a backlog of natural bile salts.
Betaine HCL treats many conditions including high homosysteine levels which are known to cause heart disease. It may also be beneficial in treating malabsorption, osteoporosis, asthma, eczma, indigestion and heart burn as well as rheumatoid arthritis, thyroid problems, diarrhea and hininitis (inflammation of the nose).
Allergies:
Betaine HCL may prevent and treat allergies (insufficient production of Hydrochloric Acid in the Stomach (Hypochlorhydria) is believed to be an underlying cause of many allergies and Betaine HCL is a supplemental source of Hydrochloric Acid). Additionally, betaine HCL may suppress or kill helicobacter pylori (Hypochlorhydria (lack of Hydrochloric Acid) patients have increased levels of helicobacter pylori – betaine HCL is a source of supplemental Hydrochloric HCL.
Athletic Performance:
Betaine HCL helps improve athletic performance (by improving the body’s energy levels, increasing stamina and improving the body’s utilization of oxygen). It can increase the body’s liver's efficiency in metabolizing fatty acids. It also reduces elevated homocysteine levels (during its metabolism within the body, betaine HCL transfers one of its methyl groups to homocysteine, causing homocysteine to be converted to methionine and improves the body’s utilization of oxygen.
Digestive Health:
Betaine HCL has been shown to reduce the risk of gallstones in persons with low levels of hydrochloric acid. It often alleviates many cases of heartburn (by increasing the level of hydrochloric acid in the stomach) and is also useful for the treatment of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.
Enzymes:
Enzymes for digestion are a must. Our foods today do not contain the natural enzymes they once did in our ancestor’s day. Foods are allowed too long on the shelf, or are tampered with by destroying enzymes so that they might have a longer shelf life. We also cook the enzymes out of our food and have become less prone to eating just-picked foods. In their raw state, foods are packed with the very enzymes that help digest them, or break them down. Therefore, the pancreas has additional work to bear simply due to our life style. So we must help out the stomach and pancreas by supplementing with enzymes.
Heart Health:
Betaine (especially the trimethylglycine (TMG) form of betaine) may help to prevent cardiovascular diseases (due to betaine functioning as a methyl donor which lowers homocysteine levels).
Enzymes are necessary to digest and assimilate your food. They also have a detoxifying effect on the body. Though the pancreas is responsible for the production of enzymes as well as the production of insulin, imagine the stress placed on the pancreas if it is continually called upon to produce enzymes for most of the food we eat daily. The result of a stressed pancreas would be diminished ability to produce insulin when needed and many dietetic sugar handling imbalances can occour.
Enzymes
In nature, ideally the food we eat would contain the necessary enzyme necessary to digest it. For example a food high in protein would also be high in Protease which is the enzyme that digests protein. Unfortunatally, most of the food in our diets no longer have any enzymes in them, or the enzymes have been systematically destroyed to preserve shelf life. Heat and the processing of foods destroys natural enzymes.
Everyone should include enzymes in their diet as routinely as they would take multiple vitamins and minerals. The following enzymes should be included in your supplementation:
Protease which digests proteins
Amylase which digests carbohydrates
Lipase which digests fats
Cellulase which digests fiber
